Guest guest Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 At 9 months Melody had one lymph node swollen on the left side of her neck also. I regrettably had her ears pierced a week earlier. She was hospitalized and the doctors believed it to be connected to the ear piercing even though there were no recognizable signs of infection. During the same episode she had a rash that started on her face and spread to the rest of her body. The doctors could not explain that. Last years was toward the end of Sept. and we'd really like to have some consistency with dates. Thanks for the suggestion! We do have the 5K Run in the summer, and hopefully, next year, there will be many more PFS families in attendance. This year we had 6 families, including us.... Have a great day! Make sure a behavior plan is established and put into his IEP to address this situation if it happens again. Outline preventive measures as well as consequences. As long as this is in place Suspension should not occur. If this is not in place the school could suspend for up to 10 days and then have a meeting to create The behavior plan. Do it now!
