Hi,I have posted the last couple of days about my concern with my

second child showing signs of .Well yesterday our

pediatrician rang us with his blood results and told us to bring him

in to Hospital he wanted to do more Blood work and start him on iv

Antibiotics. His white cells were up and sed rates he is anemic(iron

levels were way down)they are still pending ANA and immuneglobulins

(SP).They started him on IV antibiotics last night as they were also

worried that his hole in his Heart may have an infection. The Fever

Spiked again last night(24 hours after redipred was given)back up to

39.3 so we gave him another lot of Redipred within 4 hors or so it

was back down(has not appeared today,I think it is keeping it at bay)

It will be intresting to see what the Temp does tonight when the

Redipred wears off.His Paeditrician is leaning towards as it is

so similar to the way does things. His mouth is coated in Ulcers

tongue is white with red dots all over it,Lymph knodes huge throat

red but Tonsills not Pussy, black circles under eyes, rosey red chheks

(similar to slap cheek, both my kids get this with fever)The only

difference is His Liver is up where is 's spleen usually

enlarges. Also scrotum has gone massive(is this normal in boys

obviousley I didn't have this with ).Iwas wondering if any of

you think this sounds like the Start of (they are sure he has a

secondary infection also).I feel so behind the 8 ball living in

Australia as the knowledge that all of your Doctors seem to have in

America seems so much more.We see our Paed tomorrow and I told him

that I found this website and that you may all be able to point us

towards some of the elevated levels in Bloods that you would expect

with a flair up.Anxiousley awaiting your reply Kind regards

( and 's mummy)
