Hi Connie,

I am SO glad you finally went to the ER! I was

sure getting worried about you. Well, somehow you've

got to come up with the money for the medicines, you

really need them. Diflucan is expensive, my doctor

prescribed TWO for me once and my insurance would only

pay for one per month! I guess one is the usual 'per

month' dose. Could the doctor who prescribed them get

you any for free. He might be able to call the drug

rep and get some 'samples' for you. Or, if he knows

you can't afford those, maybe there is a cheaper

substitute, although I can't think of one at the

moment! Are you supposed to take the Diflucan at the

same time as the erythomycin? That would seem counter

productive to me. Well, you need those medicines NOW,

but I think in the long run the diabetes and

medication management will one of the most important

things you to for your health. I am so happy that

finally you were able to see a different doctor, maybe

you will actually get some help! So what did he say

the hard lymph nodes meant? Keep me posted.

I'm doing great and not great all at the same time! :)

Went to the oncologist Tuesday, will do more tests and interferon IV 5 days

a week, for 4 weeks then complete the rest of the year with injections. I

don't mind doing the interferon, rather that than die from cancer, but I

dunno how I'm gonna get there every day for a month!

I asked him if I could wait for treatment till the 1st of the year so I can

finish my contract job and get the holidays behind me and he said yes but no

longer, so that is what I'm gonna do.

I am very concerned about my health in a year! What this hep c, fibro,

fatigue, etc is like when I add just a rigid treatment program. Very

disconcerting. Nothing left but to DO it.

Leg is doing fine. I'm getting ready to go to my writer's group tonight,

wheelchair and all! I can hobble short distances, but for anything else I

gotta have a chariot and a handsome charioteer (sp) - my hubby.

Hope all of yall are doing great and you Americans ready to eat some

turkey!!

20 more lbs here I come!

Oh Alley, I'm so sorry you have to go through interferon for another

year but hopefully it won't be as hard on you as the combo was....and

getting rid of the cancer will certainly be worth it.

My thoughts and blessings will be with you.
