LDN & antibiotics

some people believe that many autoimmune diseases (like rheumatoid

arthritis) are caused by a certain bacteria called CWD (cell wall

deficient) bacteria.

and that treating with long term antibiotics is helpful.

my question is: can you do both the LDN and long term antibiotics at

the same time?

has anybody ever asked this question to Dr Bihari?

i know that some antibiotics also function as anti-inflamatories, so

i'm wondering if it would interefere with the function of the LDN.

thanks

Hello to All,

I'm on antibiotics (what they call a "z" pack) and an antihistamine ( claritin) for a double ear infection. My question is: are these two medications going to interfere with LDN? I feel weak and my legs feel like rubber. Any ideas?

Thanks,

They shouldn't have a negative effect on LDN. You're legs feel weak and

rubbery probably due to the infection you're trying to fight off.

No, but they say people with MS may not react well to antibiotics.. if ya need 'em, ya need 'em.

LDN WILL interact with antibiotics, however.

By orchestrating your immune system, if you are at a close level of homeostasis, the LDN orchestration will Help Make the Antibiotic Work Better. And the reaction you'd get to your MS immune system wouldn't be as drastic as how PWMS not on LDN would react.

http://www.larrygc.com/mystory

I wrote in mystory thread about my 10/04 battle with a Deadly staph infection. I was given Levaquin, after the LDN lost a 6 week battle of keeping it at bay. 2 Levaquin doses and the staph reversed and retreated. My podiatrist was Stunned. Never in his 23 year practice had he seen a reaction like that. He told me my immune system must be operating at PEAK EFFICIENCY.

Whatever you do, Don't stop the LDN for any reason. It will only help any other drug work better... except opiates, apparently.

It may make the claritin work too well, too.. you may find you don't NEED it. I can't take any of them any more, my issues have been healing too fast to bother with anything but something needed immediately like an antibiotic.

I fell back on 6/25 and my knee was scraped all over and very bloody. Except for the largest, all the others healed exceptionally fast, I couldn't believe it. But, hey, that's LDN for ya. LOL

Hope ya feel better soon.

Ivy,

I have taken both claritin and the z-pack, at different times and

have not had a problem at all, with those and LDN.
