Our ID doctor is planning to write an article about my kids because I

We have just recieved our diagnosis (my daughter is 4) so I am by no means an

expert, but one thing the doctor mentioned is that this can be heriditary, and

can be triggered by immunizations. We know this is the case as my daughters

first episode was the day of her first shot.

My son never recieved any immunizations as we were unsure the cause of my

daughter's reaction to it and has never had symptoms of . He is now 2.

Did you immunize one or both of your kids? Is it possible it triggered it in

both if it is hereditary?

I personally do not believe the immunization theory. We vax'd late and the

fevers started before my son was vax'd. I only happened to delay vax because I

was worried about autism.

I do believe that it is heridetary and think I had as a child (and does my

mom). My mom had her tonsils removed as a child as well due to cronic

tonsillitis and fevers.
