Hi my name is Dawn and My son has had since 2000. He will

be 8 this July. I have not posted in a long time due to the fact that

is doing so much better. A little background info. use to

get a lot of those mouth sore and the high fever every 21 days. Than

after trying all the meds. we did a T & A back in 2003. has done a

lot better since than. He still gets mouth sores jsut not every 21

days sometime he will go months with out any at all. He also

dose not always get a fever now with the mouth sores. When he dose get

a fever it is now 100 - 102 at lot better than the 105. So now to my

question! I also have a four year daughter Nikki who has be very

healthy child. She may get a cold every once in a while but that about

it for her. Not like Chirs who seems to catch anything that is going

around. Well last month Nikki had a small mouth sore on her botton

gum. We did not think much of it she said it hurt a little but it did

not bother her. Well now she hada really big one on her top gum and it

really hurts her a lot. She want let me put anything on it. It really

red with a white stuff in the middle. She dose not want to eat much

because it hurts her so much. Can she have ? I have heard that

siblings don't usually get it. I pray that it is not and have to

go throght all that we went though with Chris. The years of doctor

telling us it was just a viruis. I just hate for any child to have

this . I was just wondering if I should take her in to see if she

may have or if it is something else. I want to have her see the

dotor but my husband see it different. Do I follow my gut feeling and

take her in to the doctor? I jsut hate to see her any pain at all. My

husband thinks we should try some canker meds. to see if it will help

before going to the doctor. Who knows maybe he fears as well.

Just wanted to know if she could have or if is was just worried

over some canker sore. She has not had a fever yet with the sores!
