Guest guest
, Just went through this with my family and friends . sounds pretty caring and intelligent to bring this up . 's brothers (14 & 23) , also told me that they would watch over their brother , I told them the same thing . I received a brochure saying : Hundreds of Parents and Family Agonize Over A Single Question : " Who Will Love Him When I'm Not Around ? " It is not a subject parents can safely ignore. Take Care . I said (a little shocked), " What do you mean, when we're gone? " She gave me that knowing look & I said, " You mean, when we're dead? " & she said " Yes " . I tried to assure her that no, we didn't expect her to have to look after her sister & I told her that she was too young to be thinking about such things & not to worry, that we would make arrangements for . A little while later she came to me & > said, " It's O.K., Mommy. I'll look after when you're gone. " One of those precious moments. Has anyone else had similar talks with siblings?
