Guest guest
<Elie comes home from camp tomorrow - a big 16 you (birthday was yesterday). They never called even once the whole week!! Life is good. AND YOURS WILL GET BETTER TOO. Sara> Hi, Everyone.....Sara.....some of the stories I read of the 'younger' kids brings back fond memories (for the most part!!!). Our lives HAVE gotten a lot better as Gareth gets older. I don't know how much is meds related and how much is maturity. The sleepless nights are gone (except whenever there are thunderstorms); the Master Houdini is gone; the teeth grinding is gone; the severe behavior is gone (for the most part); the bending over in half and growling at the TV is pretty much nonexistent; his speech has returned (2-3 word sentences); he wants to please us; he eats regular foods; he watches 'normal' shows (So Weird, Jett , Boy Meets World, etc)..... LITTLE things that make a BIG difference in an autistic child. As for the surveillance cameras.....Gareth hams it up. It is soooooooooo embarrassing at times. He'll make faces, wave, dance around silly......ya gotta laugh!!! Take care, Everyone. Margaret
