valerie and all,

in reference to the book.....yes it's the building bridges one....i

absolutely love it!!! ashton's ot has it now and then her speech path and

the ld teacher at my son's school wants it....lmao i guess i shall get my

turn soon......loloololol the other two books i bought are great too.... i

was in livonia michigan!! somewhere past pennsylvania and the ohio

turnpike....was a ten hour drive, but so worth it.... we ate at this great

rest called " bahama breeze " it was sooooooooogood.....mmmmmmmmmmmm yummy to

my already overflowing tummy:-)

okay about Ashton's GREAT DAY!!!!!! it's been so long since i was posting

positive i shall share now..... ashton's speech path and spec ed dir are

making training videos to train new autism teachers and parents.. anyways,

ashton is the " subject " in the videos... well after the videoing, ashton

went to her third grade class. i am looking over the school for her, i find

her...i peeked in the door and stoppped in my tracks..... ashton was on the

floor with four other girls(nonds-pdd)they were talking to ashton in sign

language about her birthday pool party which is on friday.... gelisa asked

her what she was wearing....ashton signed " orange and blue " gelisa said " oh

your wearing your orange and blue bathing suit " ashton said " yes me am " this

carried around the group talking about different things related to ashton

and ashton was participating to her best effort......she saw me and said " hi

mommy go home " .......lolololol i walked out the door, got in my car and

cried more tears than i have of HAPPINESS in a

lonnnnnnnnngggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time. i am glad i took the time to

teach that third grade class sign language although just basics, i am glad i

push ashton to do her best.....seeing her be a part of that was so touching

and gigantically momentious for me........ words alone can't describe, you

must look into my heart and see the colors that are sprouting out within

me.... seeing that makes this battle and all we do endure so very worth

it...... i love my daughter so much adn i am glad i have her, along with my

saggy butt, blue veins, and wilted skin, because along with that i have more

insight and knowledge, i know true love and i am able to see the colors in

her..... thank you god for giving her to me....... sorry so long, i am jsut

bursting with joy.......tc all, leah very proud mom of ashton, almost ten

ds-pdd and cameron 6 and into his body...........
