When I've brought this up in the past others have not seemed to think

LDN helps BUT I have had awful seasonal allergies all my 47 years of

life but since being on LDN I have gone through two allergy seasons

without as much as a sniffle. It's been nothing short of amazing on

that account for me.

-- [low dose naltrexone] LDN & allergies

since LDN balances the immune system, does that mean it helps to

lessen allergies?

have people with allergies had any improvement on LDN?

thanks

bill

It sure hasn't helped my alergys at all.

++++++++++++

I'm still waiting for allergy relief from LDN. I react tho to

barometer changes and climate so not sure it will help that but also

have allergies to pollens and such. In fall, ragweed comes out here

in NC US and usually drives me nuts so I will see what affect it has

on me from being on LDN since 12/17/04. Would be great if all the

allergies would disappear!! Barometer changes can cause me

migraines.

Still doing GREAT on the liquid Revia and planning to call neuro

Tues. for a script of Revia instead of the compounded that did not

work the same for me.

My cousin in Georgia started LDN spring of 2004 for fibro (now symptom

free for that) and noted that her ususal severe summer allergies did

not appear, an effect she had not even anticipated.

My sister is just starting LDN for her eczema and hypothyroid. I hope

she too will find it helps her allergies. I'm also talking to my other

sister about LDN as her husband has celiac disease (and gout) and could

also likely benefit from LDN.

Sammy Jo, I want to order one of those devices. I tried to e-mail you personally but it was sent back. How has it benefited you and have you heard personal stories about it helping hermiations in the neck? I appreciate any experience you have with this as I finally stopped my LDN 3 days ago to take pain meds it got so bad. I have to work and this has been going on now for 10 weeks. I just got the insurance company to authorize an MRI and found out the source of my pain. I want to get back on LDN ASAP. Any help would be so appreciated, Kathy

Hi SammyJo,

Is your cousin use the computer much? If so, I would love for her to e-

mail me. I have so many questions about the fibro treatment with LDN.

Because my pain levels are so high, I can't seem to get past the use of

the Darvocette. Got past the other two. How long did it take for her

pain to be improved? Did she sleep good with it?

I would just so love to hear more from her. Thanks for posting

though, and I am so glad to hear she is free of symptoms. That must be

amazingly wonderful for her.
