I was just saying that it IS wonderful if certain med's, diets, whatever, lessen the symptoms and/or behaviors.....but would the dx still " stick " as far as the schools are concerned??? Loriann mentioned that they are now questioning whether or not her child actually has autism, since the diet has worked so well!! It is a great area for discussion as I wonder what the schools and 's doctor would say if 's behavior improved? Of course, the DS/MR will " stay " , but what about the PDD? And for others, what about the autism and other secondary dx's??
Guest guest
, For some of our kids ds is the secondary dx. JJ is much more afftected by the autism than DS & Garry, parents of (10 ds), (9 ds), JJ (7 ds/autism/celiac), (6 ds/ADHD/Celiac), and Esther (4 ds). All adopted. ----------
