Guest guest
I just emailed Powers- part of the steering committee as to if we should be working our parent networks to find these cases or if this is part of a ploy to get it back down to one general causation hearing with out a test case. Maybe others should be asking thier lawyers or others about this. 5 years have passed and this cannot be scrapped. > > http://www.uscfc.uscourts.gov/OSM/Autism/Autism%20Update% 20Untitled.pdf > > Apparently the Special Masters are threatening to scrap the omnibus > proceedings and switch over to individual proceedings if the > respondents do not come up with 2 more test cases quickly. > > Anyone want to weigh in on this latest development? > > >

Guest guest
I have video of my son right up until he got his MMR laughing, smiling, talking, very interactive, incredible eye contact and babble type conversation, then footage of him a week, 2 weeks and a month after his MMR sitting on the floor like a lifeless expressionless blob and more of him staring out the window totally spaced out and not responding to his name. The only difference in his life from the before and after video....MMR KerrieSee what's free at AOL.com.

Guest guest
They are looking for pretty solid cases that are Thimerosal and MMR that caused Autism. I guess if there are good documented reactions to both Thimerosal containing vaccines and MMR then it would be a good case. Maurine- were you at Autism One??? Guest guest
No, I wasn't there, and I don't know what all this means except I believe that they are separating the thimerosal cases from the MMR cases. I e-mailed our attorney today, but have not heard back yet. We have cases for both my grandchildren(one is recovered, but was less damaged at the time) filed, but I doubt very many of us have somewhere on record that a hospital or doctor said definitively "Yes, he is autistic bercause of his vaccines." That is what we are there to prove, isn't it??????????? Guest guest
Does anyone know how you go about proving this? My 3yo daughter regressed shortly after her MMR, and was dx'd last year so we are inside the statute of limitations. The doctor gave the MMR shot on the same day as prescibing antibiotics. My daughter also further regressed following her one and only flu shot. We haven't filed anything yet. Thanks, Marie > > > > > > > > http://www.uscfc.uscourts.gov/OSM/Autism/Autism%20Update% > > > 20Untitled.pdf > > > > > > > > Apparently the Special Masters are threatening to scrap the > > omnibus > > > > proceedings and switch over to individual proceedings if the > > > > respondents do not come up with 2 more test cases quickly. > > > > > > > > Anyone want to weigh in on this latest development? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > Boardwalk for $500? Guest guest
Hi Marie, This is the point of the the omnibus-for our side to prove what we believe. Few attorneys are willing to take on any new cases at this time as it has been put on hold for so many years, but you can file yourself if necessary. Guest guest
I read over the PDF earlier, and from what I gather, you have to prove that the MMR in conjunction with thimerosal containing vaccines injured your child. Other than what many of us KNOW as parents, the only ways I can think to prove damage from the MMR would be A) A biopsy and scope cerebro-spinal fluid C) a documented reaction (and we all know how often doctors admit/report these). You would think that evidence of thimerosal toxicity is much easier to prove due to various test results (DDI, Porphyrin Profiles, etc) > > > > > > > > > > http://www.uscfc.uscourts.gov/OSM/Autism/Autism%20Update% > > > > 20Untitled.pdf > > > > > > > > > > Apparently the Special Masters are threatening to scrap the > > > omnibus > > > > > proceedings and switch over to individual proceedings if the > > > > > respondents do not come up with 2 more test cases quickly. > > > > > > > > > > Anyone want to weigh in on this latest development? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > > > > Boardwalk for $500? Guest guest
, I believe that the MMR and thimerosal are two separate issues in the Court and when the claims were filed -one or the other had to be stated.
