Guest guest
Not exactly. Bones fits the profile of those who seek to misinform, to detract, to waste the group's time. If there was real debate, that would be one thing. But a disinformation campaign, which is designed, by its very nature, to frustrate the purposes of the group, is counterproductive. Spending time debating Bones detracts from the general information which is disseminated on this website. If, as Lenny had indicated, the CDC views this website as one of the most difficult/potent websites to deal with, then what better was to limit that effect than to corrupt the debate. Bones was not here to debate. He was here to frustrate the very purpose of this group. That's a huge distinction. Re: My prediction came true-bones did what I expected him too. I realize that Kim. I am just saying posted something admonishing the group for not engaging bones in a intelligent debtate. bones was not here to debate anything in an intelligent manner. His presence on this list was solely to antagonize and initiate arguments. A far cry from -intelligent debate. His comments on Kev Letich's blog clearly show that. I mean I'm still laughing at the bastard child comment of Verstraten and Gerberding comment- Lilly Merck Kline. I mean isn't that funny? If someone comes here respectfully attempting to engage the group in an intelligent debate I believe they will be treated in the manner in which they present themself. Otherwise they will be treated as bones was. He got what he gave. IMO.>> , I'm simply trying to point out that is a good guy, not a > lurker. Guest guest
Absolutely, to the extent it is an honest debate. Re: My prediction came true-bones did what I expected him too. ,It is true that I am not the most active poster here as I tend to use it as a site to educate myself mostly. As well as keep up with my wife who is a very active poster here and on many other boards/groups so I know what she is talking about when I get home from work and can talk intelligently about that day's big story with her.My wife does most of the heavy lifting on the bio-med, education, and treatment front for our son CJ. While I do the heavy lifting on running my company and paying the bills so she can be a stay at home mom to him and our two daughters and be a full time Autism researcher/advocate.My point was that I would rather see people allowed here to debate contrarian views and not wind up treated in a way that kindergartners would behave. I think it would make the site more educational for all of us that sit in the background and read and educate ourselves, which I think are way more then the regular ten to twenty folks that post repeatedly.> >> > Sad thing is we want these types here so we have documentary evidence > > of discourse, unfortunately the herd mentality here prevents true > > documented debate.> > > > If a tree falls and noone is there to hear it (or make money) to > prove > > it?> > > > We need to welcome the Jack Torrances and slay them with proof, > > otherwise we are nothing but a group of Don Quixote's tilting at > > windmills.> > > > And we need to do it in a way that will be acceptable to others, > > meaning professional courtesy's (even if not felt) apply.> > > > Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.....> >>

Guest guest
I was so hoping not to have to respond to this thread….. Kerbob, My husband is a very intelligent father who watched our child regress into Autism absolutely due to vaccination. He listens to me go on and on every day. He was merely stating his opinion that things went too far with bones for him and he was requesting only that we give him the studies and facts to supplement a debate rather than an attack. I am not saying that I totally agree with him, some of it was a little beyond my taste but I completely understand the anger and frustration that cause these interactions. So I ask you no to bash my husband, nor his knowledge of mercury in vaccines because our child, just like yours, shows us every moment just how toxic he is. - From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of kerbob1 Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2007 7:12 AM EOHarm Subject: Re: My prediction came true-bones did what I expected him too. Well, it would be nice if more helped out. Still, you have to be careful for what you wish for. For instance, I'd bet chapdoggy doesn't know the mercury toxicity of a Mc's cheeseburger nor how many it'd take to equal one thimerosal-containing vaccine exposure anon. Still we are expected to believe people with no sense that it is these ambient resources of neurotoxic sustenance causing the brain reactions in infants and toddlers and not the direct, needled in neurotoxin. It has been historically the crime to not document anything more significant than loose teeth and assorted vomits and gushing bowels. Yes, there are doctors, even today, who actually believe that putting mercury into babies is an essential part of a balanced diet. You can't make this stuff up. Look who's fighting the continued efforts to ban the stuff? Putting mercury into babies is stupid, stupid, stupid, dumb. > > > > Sad thing is we want these types here so we have documentary evidence > > of discourse, unfortunately the herd mentality here prevents true > > documented debate. > > > > If a tree falls and noone is there to hear it (or make money) to > prove > > it? > > > > We need to welcome the Jack Torrances and slay them with proof, > > otherwise we are nothing but a group of Don Quixote's tilting at > > windmills. > > > > And we need to do it in a way that will be acceptable to others, > > meaning professional courtesy's (even if not felt) apply. > > > > Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..... > > >

Your point is well-taken. But it looks like " Jack Torrance " was persistently deceptive about his true identity and was baiting those on this list. That is not the way to elicit open and honest debate. I told " Jack Torrance " I would be happy to engage him in debate if he would reveal his true identity. I will not debate with ghost provocateurs. The response from " Jack " to our requests was a bogus " Doe " name taken from the movie " The Shining " The problem is not the people on this list failing to engage in honest debate, but with a dishonest rogue poster who tried to goad those on this list so that he/she could report back elsewhere about how rude people here are. Don't be played by the " Jack Torrances " - they don't have your best interest or that of your child at heart. Bob Krakow

Guest guest
Dear I feel exactly the same way as you do and I thank you for sharing your perspective with the group. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only other member of EOH who felt like this. I have been thinking about posting something similar for awhile, but to be truthful, I'm "afraid" to post anything to this group anymore. Guest guest
I appreciate your reply and I am sure everyone here welcomes your opinions, unfortunately when you post (the herd mentality here prevents true documented debate)many here who have bent over backwards to give bones and others the benefit of the doubt and respond civilly to offensive postings feel disrespected. I am amazed at the tolerance shown on this board to some people,I have learned a lot about tolerance as a result of this board. Guest guest
I think the shining point is certainly outstanding against a back- drop of mostly kind, concerned people dispensing what they feel are important tid bits for all to know. As fine attempts as can be made, the dabble was simply to baroque or too long-casting to suggest that any should feast upon it and expect to remain reasonable. Also, foddering in the vicinity of the pickets only suggests that there are more out-right obvious preparations being taken to stealth- fully assault against the families of vaccine-injured children. I and perhaps some others sense that to be critical of a lack of meaningful debate at this late time is to suggest one has more of a morbid curiosity concerning things, than a thirst for truth. > > > > > > Sad thing is we want these types here so we have documentary > evidence > > > of discourse, unfortunately the herd mentality here prevents true > > > documented debate. > > > > > > If a tree falls and noone is there to hear it (or make money) to > > prove > > > it? > > > > > > We need to welcome the Jack Torrances and slay them with proof, > > > otherwise we are nothing but a group of Don Quixote's tilting at > > > windmills. > > > > > > And we need to do it in a way that will be acceptable to others, > > > meaning professional courtesy's (even if not felt) apply. > > > > > > Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..... > > > > > >
