Sad...Researchers Present Latest Findings at Conference Nearly a thousand scientists, parents, and advocates are gathered in Seattle this weekend for the sixth annual International Meeting for Autism Research, where researchers are presenting the latest autism findings. The first day of the conference saw reports on oxytocin, a hormone that helps healthy volunteers interpret social signals; on mirror neurons; and on new findings that dispel the link between mercury and autism.
