Sorry, after reading more of the postings, I realize now that Gilmore was referring to Fombonne's more recent study. I don't think that study has been published yet (at least, I cannot find it on PubMed), but it was presented at the IMFAR conference: http://www.muhc.ca/media/news/?ItemID=25228 Aasamorinp2003 <morinp2003@...> wrote: From Montreal This is Fombonne july 2006 study , check out

Not here, but I think that this is the most recent one. I beleive this is

his second

crusade through Canada based on this study in the last year. Along with a poor

attempt at

UC MIND, in which Lenny and a few others addended to question his methods

( I was

busy that week following my children around with a bucket) : (

I bet you are right, if it was presented at IMFAR, it may be preliminary.

And here's the full-text article from Burbacher on the blood-brain distribution of ethyl and methyl mercury in monkeys:http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?tool=pubmed & pubmedid=16079072Data from the present study support the prediction that, although little accumulation of Hg in the blood occurs over time with repeated vaccinations, accumulation of Hg in the brain of infants will occur. Thus, conclusion regarding the safety of thimerosal drawn from blood Hg clearance data in human infants receiving vaccines may not be valid, given the significantly slower half-life of Hg in the brain as observed in the infant macaques.Peace,Kathy E.On Feb 1, 2008, at 1:52 PM, Aasa wrote:----------------------------------------------------------Aasa (penas7arrogers) has sent this article to you from Pediatrics:Mercury Levels in Newborns and Infants After Receipt of Thimerosal-Containing Vaccineshttp://pediatrics.aappublications.org/cgi/content/full/121/2/e208?eaf----------------------------------------------------------Here's the Pichichero et al study, in case any of you want to have a look at it.----------------------------------------------------------This is sent to you as an e-mail-a-friend feature fromPediatrics at http://pediatrics.aappublications.org
