Hi My son is one of many in the ASD community who also has CP. A lot of CP is caused by ABO blood incompatibility that resulted in delayed jaundice that was not properly treated with phototherapy. We also know that CP is linked to mercury toxicity. I communicate with about 6 other parents whose children have both ASD and CP. None of our children showed signs before 6 months of age. My son's age of onset was somewhere between 3 and 4 years old -- and the earliest signs showed about around 2.5 when he dislocated his shoulders on 2 different occasions. We just got his second round of porphyrins back from France. His mercury is down but he still got the comment, "Urinary Porphyrin Profile suggestive of a pronounced mercury toxic effect on body physiology." His "mercury score" is still really high, which would not be

siginificant except that he is practically recovered -- so much so that a DAN recently did not pick up on the ASD right away -- only on the CP. HERPES connection from Australia That article was a little interesting because one thing we noticed was that our boys all had some of the highest IgG tithers for HHVI (the herpes strain that causes cold sores) in the ASD community. My son's was over 2,000. After several months of treatment it was down to 1,700 and is now around 200 (whatever that means). The IgG tither for another boy in the group is even higher than 's. As far as the maternal connection (this is the I am not a flusy speech) -- negative. I am also doing the DAN protocol and did a viral panel (as did some of the other moms). Mine and most of the others came back negative across the board. I have never had a cold sore and both my

IgG and IgM came back negative -- never exposed. I believe that some of the vaccines may be contaminated with viruses (some Gulf War Vet articles have confirmed that). However, most likely his autoimmune system crashed and he could not fight off the common cold sore virus which I believe we are all exposed to. As far as a vaccine for HHVI or CP, it would kind of be like an autism vaccine that is preserved with thimerasol. He is getting better, and we have scheduled 200 dives this summer.
