Guest guest
I don't know why my emails keep bouncing... I dont get half the emails. I had to cancle on the DAN! conference b/c they could ONLY schedule Gavin's MRI for the 19th... I asked and asked for them to reschedule..only for them to call and cancle/reschedule the day before. Gavin has had a really bad couple days... I don't need to explain it to you guys. Just really bad. I am fed up.. and then I get an email from ABOARD with these links back to back... I guess they figure they are just reporting the news as it comes. " Is Autism More Treatable Than Thought? http://wcco.com/health/health_story_106101144.html CBS Softballs Doctor Promoting Dangerous Therapy for Autism http://www.stats.org/stories/2007/cbs_softballs_doc_apr17_07.htm --that last one just pisses me off. I do not chelate to treat autism --you stupid head-up-your-ass idiot. If anyone on here has an ounce of tact perhaps they can email the author and set them straight. Ask them how one death (due to a med error) compares to the damage and deaths from the pharmaceuticals they want to put our kids on. I am sorry if this has been posted, I am just so behind in posts.. the ones I actually got. Then: an article stating that there are 8,000 autistic in PA schools... HA!!!!!! 6 come from my school district! in pa if their IQ tests for MR, then MR goes on the dx first --and that is what is reported to the state... so the true number is probably actually shocking... b/c honestly 8,000 doesn't shock me... and since I am getting it all out in one post... I must go read what you are talking about --about what the family of Mr. Cho is saying and the Huffington blog about him being autie?? WTF?? And autistic person may not talk and avoid eye contact, but they do not PLAN mass murder and then mail off what he did... he talked just fine on those tapes, he is not ASD or even aspergers. Christ... I am sure I am preaching to the choir. Today Gavin had two huge melt downs --i watched him almost tear a ENTIRE solid wood bannister from our steps and hit his brother. I saw his push his brother off the couch (liam, not understanding the full scope of his actions, was screaming at gavin just to set him off) I had to wrestle Gavin to the ground --I watched him cycle through wild emotions b/c his brain was misfiring like an AK-47. He was laughing while crying while freaking out. I honestly thought he was going to seize... and there is my bad day and its topped of by the absolute ignorance of those not effected by the 1 in 166 (well, and some of them too) shit. Guest guest
: No one has responded to you yet, so I thought I would try. I imagine when a day like this happens we feel all alone with this mess. Can you get some tunnel vision to put out the biggest fires first? I promise to support you in my thought and prayer. Perspective can come later, just don't lose yourself. We are in a pickle but we are in this together. Hold on please. Because I need you too.
