Guest guest
Don't you think more and more children on the spectrum that are becoming adults without any intervetions, services, support or help are going to become more of a " problem " for society? I don't think his autism (or Asperger's) caused the rampage, but maybe the relentless depression for not getting any help, along with the toxins causing other problems with his brain, etc. pushed him over the edge. I belive some people are evil, but some are just sick. Not sure where he was, but I think we're going to have more and more issues with young ASD adults. Then society will turn against our kids even more. > > you have got to be kidding.. now I can just see it all over the news > headlines... this is not good.. Guest guest
Anti-depressant drugs, school campus, autism, guns, timing, and the Wizard of Oz. So many distractions for the public and so many agendas to fulfill. The killer was reported to have had an expressionless look - like a Mind Controlled Assassin. How many people with Asperger's/HFA do you know who have an expressionless look ALL the time, especially under stress/duress? Asperger's/HFA will become the new convenient disorder to blame for violent crimes - lots of agendas to fulfill there. http://www.whale.to/b/mind_control.html > > > > > > you have got to be kidding.. now I can just see it all over the > > news > > > headlines... this is not good.. Guest guest
It's easy to see how the cult of Neuroinsanity can recruit people like this by making them think they fit in someplace. I wonder if Kathleen Seidel is celebrating this guy's diversity. I wonder if this would have happened if he had been on Lupron. > > > > > > > > you have got to be kidding.. now I can just see it all over the > > > news > > > > headlines... this is not good.. Guest guest
This is a major problem. While everyone is looking for the reason for autism. which BTW I believe it is mercury amongst other toxins in injections. What are the older kids going to do? There are NO services for them after 21. Some states such as Florida have waiting list with the numbers in the thousands. While I have an excellent job I am the single mom with NO help from the X so it is left up to me. Now I fight for due process over 100K with little progress I am now in the 3 rd circuit court. But who do I fight when my child is 21? Can someone out there answer this question for me? "Autism" has become such a trivilized term in some quarters that itgets pinned on anyone weird going postal, by anyone else shopping fora gentler, kinder label. Guest guest
> But who do I fight when my child is 21? Can someone out there answer this question for me? Nancie, You are not alone in your question. There is a tidal wave of autistic young adults aging out of the education system. The answers vary from state-to-state. Those of us with older children will always be on the leading edge of advocacy for them and those who come after. Not all parents will be able to tend to their adult autistic children and they will have to go into some sort of state-funded care. This is a very costly bill that will soon come due to state legislatures and taxpayers. Then we will find the question " where is all this autism coming from? " not such an academic one. We can answer, " why don't you ask the pharamcuetical companies who have been given immunity for dirty vaccines this question? Maybe you'll get the straighter answers than what we got from the tobacco companies about their products not so long ago. " Lenny
Guest guest
I had a feeling. And you know what I don't mind them talking about him having Autism because truthfully I do worry the future of these kids. Many of the kids who are on the " higher " end of the spectrum struggle with depression, ocd, suicidal thoughts. But people don't want to look at what the future may be 18 years from now when 1 in 150 college students/adults will be on the spectrum. Maybe this will create a sense of urgency for this country!!!! Maybe people will " wake the hell up " and look at the " flippin " evidence, before it's too late!!!!! And please don't think I'm saying it's ok for people to think that " all " children with Autism could end up being mass murderers. I don't think that way at all. I know in my son's case he is very high functioning. You wouldn't be able to pick him out a crowd as the kid on the spectrum. But he getting help for social/emotional issues which now that he is preparing to enter Jr. High are becoming a problem for him. He has even talked about just wanting to go to heaven. It's heart breaking....but I know that he has us. So many parents aren't getting their kids help for whatever reason (lack of funds, denial etc.). And those are the kids I worry about when it comes to stories like this.
Guest guest
Dirty little secret about 12-step programs is that they mostly don't work. Last study I saw of AA efficacy placed the number at 5% recovery tops. I will add that if you are in that 5%, it's a lifesaver. But if you think 5% is all that great, just remember you have a 25% of getting alzehiemers in your 80s. tic tic tic. Guest guest
Thanks for the response Lenny, years ago a support I belonged to a support group that did a cost analysis of what it would cost to raise a child with autism, that was in the 90's done by the late son & Jame Mulick. The cost has risen more now in the 00's and even though my child is 14 i wonder the what if's I am scared of sexual abuse, over medication & state run group homes. So do we start something now for our kids because mindeis never leaving my side. Unless our government own up and take responsibility. I need dollars for their mistake!schaferatsprynet <schafer@...> wrote: > But who do I fight when my child is 21? Can someone out thereanswer this question for me? Guest guest
Just got this from Autism Link:Brought to you by AutismLink --------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- CNN has pulled the reference to the shooter at Virginia Tech's being diagnosed with autism in 1992. Originally presented on the website at approximately 4 p.m., CNN pulled the reference to autism later in the day at approximately 4:45 p.m. We're not sure exactly what this means -- likely a mistranslation on the part of CNN. Guest guest
If NBC promptly gave the evidence to federal investigative authorities like good citizens should always do what the heck were they broadcasting? They would never show the streaking golden casio guy running across mid- field at a football game because it encourages others, but they can completely and insensitively show a mass murderer fully knowing that families are mourning their children. It doesn't make any sense at all. > > Just on MSNBC aunt in Korea said he was autistic! >

Guest guest
Seriously, I wish someone would do a study on that...i.e, where does the mercury vapor in those who imbibe alcoholic drinks (especially wine, which at least has some recognized "health benefits" in moderation) end up? A few years ago, I even heard Dr. Boyd Haley mention that those who drink alcohol, are less likely to end up with Alzheimer's. Is it because the alcohol thins your blood somehow, and prevents the mercury vapor from getting into the bloodstream (as some forms of mercury are aquaphobic), or is it because those who drink succumb to other ailments or accidents before Alzheimer's would catch up with them? I'd be curious to find out more about this, Cheers, Aasa Hooker <brian@...> wrote: That explains a lot... hic'> > > > >> > > > > you have got to be kidding.. now I can just see it all over the > > > > news > > > > > headlines... this is not good.. Guest guest
Yes Nancie, you start now planning and one of the best ways to provide for your child's future is not always a group home, but through a plan called Self-Determination. What state do you live in? I can send a link about what to do to get the process going now. In the meantime, check out my site below and there are lots of links on this federal program and a FAQ section as well. Guest guest
How about anarchist? How about " manchurian " stooge who successfully completed one crime, returned to his master, then sent on another mission? There are sleepers and then there are walkers. Who knows???? Maybe he was egocentric enough to kill in order to have his face on NBC? Maybe he feasted on 's movie? All I can think of is if he was autistic somebody here would have to know him, worked with him. This essentially was not forth-coming. When the guy ran Gov. Corzine off the road we knew all about him in a couple days. This guy leaves lots and lots of stuff for you to soak up. That's what he wanted. He wanted you worshipping at his feet. The label of autism came from South Korea and not from his teachers, therapists, etc. I place pin the tail on autism in the arena with bird flu for journalistic integrity. > > > > > > > > you have got to be kidding.. now I can just see it all over > the > > > news > > > > headlines... this is not good..
