Guest guest
I lost a dangerous amount of weight. I experienced a loss of appetite. After going off LDN for about 3 months my appetite returned. I intend to return to LDN. I believe in it.
Guest guest
I've lost some weight and don't need to lose any more. I did seem to get to a plateu and have remained the same. If you're taking in adequate calories, seems like you would quit losing at some point. I guess you need to decide if you're getting enough benefits from LDN to continue. I've found that with MS and others having to pick me up (physically) from time to time, weighing the lowest I can is good. I'm small but healthy! Guest guest
I am posting this message again because 99% of the previous replies had nothing to do with weight loss. I do need some help especially seeing as how I no longer have Dr. to ask and cannot afford Dr. Bihari. Am going to beg my GP to write me a script for LDN. My question is has anyone lost weight while on LDN and what have you done about it? I've been on 4.5 mg. for over a year and have lost almost 10 lbs. Was slender to start with so did not need to lose any weight and cannot afford to lose any more. Would switching to 3 mg. help, or should I take LDN every other day? I'm eating as much as I can but am still not gaining. I had a complete blood work up in late fall, and everything is normal so I know it's the LDN. Any thoughts?? Guest guest
I'm not sure what you are looking for exactly, but I can share my experiences with weight. I've gained quite a bit of weight since I started on LDN 2 years ago - and it's not that I've been eating alot more food or that I'm eating poorly. I'm taking 6 mg. Guest guest
Still losing? Wow. I was 136 when I started LDN 4/17/03, weighed 124 in Nov 03, and then 126 every time since. Been pretty much the same weight since the initial drop. I figured it was due to my metabolism working like it used to, again. Guest guest
Hi Reg, I have lost 10 pounds on Ldn in three months. But I was using oral steriods and I gained 20 so the lose of ten was fine. I am not sure if weight lose is the result of ldn or of discontinuing use of steriods. Joanne L. Guest guest
Hopefully it will make it resolve quicker. Every thing, so far, that my family brought home, they've had 6-10 days worth of misery, mine were all tolerable by the 3rd or 4th day. Re: [low dose naltrexone] Weight Loss on LDN I just started LDN and have caught a cold and tummy upset not LDN related but makes it hard to feel any benifit Grrr.
