Guest guest Posted January 6, 2005 Report Share Posted January 6, 2005 I have been experimenting with LDN for ALS and have been on 3mg. for only a few days. I was on 1.75 for ten days and other than vivid dreams I noticed no effect. Today I am very lame from last night and during the night it was apparent I was being affected by the LDN in the same negative way. I also had a few weird sensations which seemed to come from the nerve itself, something I have never felt with my disease. I have heard others talk about stiffness, but that is not what I would really describe my side effects like; more soreness and lameness upon awakening and during the night. Usually starting out the day is when I feel my best and not bad all things considered. Is this something others have experienced and do you think it will go away? I do not have the same level of assurance that LDN is effective in ALS as most of you do with MS assumming you are one of the lucky ones but I would like to know for myself and others if it may be an effective therapy for ALS. Please let me know what the more experienced here think. Also I do feel as though I had given the 1.75 enough time for myself to adapt so I can't see going back down to that dose based on the prevailing opinion that it is too low to be helpful. Thank you.
