Guest guest
Me again! In 2009, Brett had a buckle fracture at the distal end of his femur (right by his knee)- ever since it healed, his knee pops all the time. He tells me that it is very painful. It pops if his legs have been in one position for over an hour and we change the position. For example, straight to bent, bent to straight. I have tried massaging, using Bio-Freeze, and a heating pad. The heating pad seems to be the only thing that helps it not hurt as bad. Lately, when I put him in his chair, I have to push his knee to the right for it to pop so he can be comfortable. I have called the local ortho doc and they don't seem too worried. When we go to the doctor on Thursday, I am going to request an x-ray but does anyone have any advice or experience with this? It just doesn't seem right that he should have so much pain on a daily basis. Thanks in advance for any advice.
