Last month I forgot my LDN on a 6 day trip. It wasn,t long that MS showd its ugly head. as soon as I was able I got back on LDN and it wasn't long before I was back to where I was before this mishap. So I know it works for me. I don,t get any miracles but at least th eMS isn't progrssing anymore or if it is it's very slow Johanne F
Guest guest
- a very good thing to remind the new comers to LDN about. And another point is, if you don't get immediate symptom relief, that doesn't mean it will never happen. Several people have reported symptom relief after several months on LDN - so remember to give it a chance. Likewise, if you do have a flair up, that does not mean that the LDN isn't working - just that something else is happening, too. I have probably had more flair ups on LDN than anyone else I have seen write on this board. However none have left me with any permanant disability, and all have abated pretty quickly and never gotten to a point where they interfered with my life, other than irritation and discomfort. (Ok, sometimes real pain!) However, the powers that be will get my LDN from me when they pry it from my cold dead hands, or when something is proven to be better, until then - it's LDN all the way for me. Guest guest
, I'd love to be able to say otherwise, but there is no guarantee of symptom relief on LDN. Those of us with MS take it primarily to prevent progression. My impression is that bladder relief is one of the more common symptoms people experience, but it took me more than a year to even have that. But hang in there and stick with LDN--a week is nothing. Hopefully, you'll have some symptom relief soon. And if not, remember that you're doing something REALLY GOOD for yourself.
