Guest guest
Hey Folks, is thinking about getting a new chair with an elevation feature, but we¹re worried insurance would deny it. Could those of you that use elevation let me know what you use it for? I know it will come in handy for many things, a lot of which are unforeseen, so I¹d like to have a good hefty list to bring up at the OT/Vendor meeting. And actually, while I¹m asking, the same goes for gearless/brushless motors. She has them now and we love them (she hates going slow), but the vendor said insurance doesn¹t want to cover them. She got them in this chair because the OT said she needed them to cross the large, busy street near our house to get to the pharmacy on the other side. This is true, but any extra reasons would help with the convincing. Thanks much!
