If so, how long was the external fixator in for? I've had mine in for exactly 13 weeks today. I saw my ortho doctor today. He said there's definitely a substantial amount of new bone growth, but not enough to take the hardware out. He said because I'm done growing (I'm 20), I don't walk, and the nature of the break, this is not out of the ordinary...I just feel like he's been stringing me along with the timing, even though he's a great doctor.
