Guest guest
I notice that, too. I used to like it a little cooler but now anything under 70 degrees feels cold to me. Tom always chilly  Do all of us folks with SMA get colder than most people ? It seems to get worse as I get older. Regards, Patti
Guest guest
I don't think it's just an SMA thing. Most people I know with any neuromuscular disease, all the spinal cord injured folks I know, and most other disabilities that make people more sedentary, cause poor circulation. I noticed I had less trouble with being cold after I got a supra pubic catheter and could hydrate enough, Though, I'm still very sensitive to the cold. Guest guest
Yeah pneumonia infections seem to bring chills on bad for me but with less muscle, weight, and worsening vascular issues it's a combination thang. Camping/sports stores have hand and boot warmers another idea heating pads, microwavable warmers, help. When all else fails put a damp cloth in a ziplock bag and microwave it. > > Do all of us folks with SMA get colder than most people ? Guest guest
Anything under 82f is cold to me. Hate being cold all the time. My dear husband is so accommodating to keep our home warm for me.  Lori ________________________________ From: " tshindle@... Guest guest
I'm always freezing too. Keep my home at 75 degrees year round dispite protests. Almost never use air conditioning. Feels like refrigeration to me. I tell my complaining kids I'll have plenty of time to be cold when I'm dead. > > I have to agree with Alana because I get cold easier but I have DMD. > > > > > > > > > > M.
