They have a new watch coming out for kids that sets off an alarm whenever they are more than 10 feet away. I wonder if it would help Trisha, she likes to just leave when the mood hits. She has no conscept of what could happen once she gets outside. I'm going to try and see how it does. And then the tantrum hits full blown. Thanks for the reminder. I was trying to document what the tantrums look like, what each phase is so that I could try to tackle it before the violence occurs, save myself some bruising.....the death drop is where it begins. Now to find the triggers that bring it on......... Had to chase Angel down today. She escaped the deadbolt and child safety locks. Stinker binker scared the crud out of me. Her sis noticed her out beside the road and started screaming, yet couldn't tell me what she was screaming about, (big sis has PDD and can't pull out her words at the best of time) so finally I got the message and went racing outside. Sure enough there she was by the road and raced away from me the moment she realized I was coming. We live right at the start of a nice straight stretch were all those guys in the suped up trucks cruise by at full speed. I am going to call a locksmith tomorrow and see if I can afford to install locks that need keys to open them on the inside and out. She tried to get out the window yesterday. I am also going to call our city works dept and see what I need to do to get a HEARING IMPAIRED CHILD PLAYING sign put out on the road side to pre-warn people to slow down. Man, I don't think I will sleep a wink tonight. Gonna hold her tight to my side. Stinker-binker. Wonder why I named her Angel???? Must be my fate! They lock our guests in but never Angel. She is just way too smart. Had them figured out in no time. We have them on regardless, hoping that between the double locks and the knobs we could keep her in. No luck. Where or where is the docile DS child I remember reading about??? Certainly not at any of our homes! LOL. JJ's new thing is to go into Essies's room and jump into the tottler bed she no longer uses. We have flip liocks on the doors to the outside. They are up high and so far only Sam can get to them. & Garry, parents of (10 ds), (9 ds), JJ (7 ds/autism/celiac), (6 ds/ADHD/Celiac), and Esther (4 ds). All adopted.
