Guest guest
We thought we knew the pattern. Quintin's cycles had been gradually lengthening and lengthening till they were 7-10 weeks apart. Which was almost tolerable. Then we went to Disney and he promptly fevered, just 3 weeks after his last fever. Then he had another 3 week cycle. And today he was hovering in the 99-100 range. Very low, but usually he starts there and then shoots up to 102ish within 3 to 4 hours. The temp never went anywhere though and he stayed around 100 for almost 24 hours. It may be gone now. Could that have been an episode? If so, it was only 2 weeks after the last. But it was sooo mild. Could it have been a " normal " viral fever? To my knowlege he has never had one before. I don't expect anyone to have the answers. I am just so confused. It was so wonderful when his fevers were 10 weeks apart. We see his ID specialist in 2 weeks. I am trying to contact NIH. Thanks for listening. - Gwen
