Outsiders view of Oprah show

I was at work when the Oprah show aired, so one of my co-workers and

I snuck down to the break room to watch. This is a person who has

known my kids almost since birth (like a great uncle) and doesn't

have any ties to the ASD community - other than me.

His most powerful statement was after viewing the video of the

before and after child (I think it was 's son) He said " what on

gods earth is happening to these children " - he remembers that my

child was " normal "

That being said -- I think these are powerful visuals that need to

be shown as often as possible. A picture is worth a thousand words,

this refutes " experts " statements that kids are born with autism and

that it's genetic (my beef since I have identical twins who are not

both autistic!)

I hope that this show was part one and that more will be discussed.

It also need to be expanded to why all kids are at risk, why have to

rates of mental issues increased in all kids (those with true AD/HD

diagnoses, OCD, etc).
