New Video Gallery at AutismMedia.org: Educational Issues

Hi guys,

FAIR Autism Media has just launched a new video gallery in our media center,

titled

" Educational Issues in Autism. "

To launch this gallery, FAIR's Mike interviews Indiana attorney Dorene

Philpot where she discusses how Individual Education Plans can be a stressful

time for

parents trying to understand their rights, while obtaining an adequate

educational

program for their special needs child. Philpot also discusses how legal

information and

experience from experts will help parents to better understand the process.

Areas such as

understanding your rights, negotiation, functional behavioral assessments, due

process

hearings and mediation are addressed.
