Guest guest
Senator Padavan, a Republican from Queens, has re-introduced his bill that would allow New Yorkers the right of philosophical exemptions from state vaccine mandates. Sen. Padavan has introduced this bill in the past several sessions but now an identical bill has been entered into the Assembly by Marc Allessi, a Democrat from the North Fork of Long Island. Up until now there had never been a Democratic sponsor in the Assembly, the lack of which assured that the bill would go nowhere. In essence this bill allows people the right to chose which vaccines they and their children will or will not receive. Residents of 22 other states already have this right including California, Texas and Pennsylvania, as well as the people of Canada, the UK and Australia.
