According to a NJ Autism organization this

decline in MR explains the rise in autism (NO SHIT). They feel that autism has

gone up as the same rate that Down Syndrome and MR has gone down. It

(according to them) isn’t about abortion – it is about

misdiagnosis.

that Down Syndrome (a genetic problem) is indeed being

cured, 90%down from years past.

This " diagnostic substitution " theory has been discredited. In fact a

study making the diagnostic substitution argument was retracted several

years ago by the authors in the face of a critique by Baskin, Blaxill &

Spitzer.
