Guest guest
Does anyone know the components in ROTATEQ? I searched the entire site for ingredients but had no luck. I did find it CRAZY that they said it was acceptable to give an infant ROTATEQ coinciding with the DTP, HiB, Heb B, Polio and the pneumoniccocal. How can practitioners really believe there is NOTHING wrong about giving a two month old that INSANE amount of vaccines! > > http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=65481 > > Merck Updates Prescribing Information For Rotateq®, The Company's > Vaccine To Help Prevent Rotavirus Gastroenteritis In Infants And Children > > Article Date: 19 Mar 2007 - 0:00 PDT >
Guest guest
Here's the label info for RotaTeq: http://www.fda.gov/cber/label/rotamer021207LB1.pdf . It seems the vaccine can "shed" from 1 to 15 days after vaccination, but transmission was not not evaluated. Also not evaluated were the potentials for this vaccine to be carcinogenic, mutagenic, and to impair fertility. Wonderful!
