Guest guest
There seem to be more people taking LDN for PD nowadays, hopefully someone in this group can tell. ANY compounder in America >should be< making LDN with PURE naltrexone powder! ReVia is made with pure naltrexone powder, they use their own fillings to make up the tablets. Skip's, the only one I've ever used for LDN, uses PURE naltrexone powder. He says compounders only need to be +/- 10% accuracy, and he strives for +/- 5% accuracy. I believe they make the pills in 100 capsule doses by mixing the naltrexone, dye, and filler (avicel, in Skip's pharmacy) and the way they do it you can check your individual pills by looking for white spots. No white spots, then the naltrexone is compounded in the pill correctly. Ask your pharmacist how he makes his, I'm sure he doesn't make each capsule individually. The capsule plates I saw held 100 caps at a time. [low dose naltrexone] LDN from Express Scripts? Hello, is there anyone in this group who is getting their LDN fromExpress Scripts in Bensalem, Pa.? I talked to a pharmacist there andhe said they use pure naltrexone from the mfg. and then compound itwith lactose. I always worry if they are really providing the required4.5 mg dose. I have been on their Rx for the past four months and LDNsince this July. Since I have been on sinemet (which means I probablyhave Parkinson's and not MS - tremor) for the past month, my tremor ismuch improved. But I can't tell if the LDN is stopping progressionyet. Larry mentioned that pure naltrexone is hard to work with and nowI'm concerned if Express Scripts is up to speed on LDN (my HMO wantsme to use them). So, does anyone have experience with Express Scripts and is anyoneusing LDN for Parkinsons?

If you're allergic to Avicel you'll experience nausea, headache, vomiting or near vomiting. Bren
