Guest guest
... thanks for letting me vent, now i can go give > her a hug > without strangling the crapt outta her.....leah > > ------------------------ Leah, SOunds like there is none left. Here is my poop story for the day. Matt flushed a pencil down the toilet about 2 weeks ago. I have been trying to wait until it dissolved and would go on down. I have been plunging that damn toilet 6 times a day. Each time you flush, it takes 5-6 flushes, with me plunging, to get just pee to go down. I went to the grocery store this afternoon, when I came home, the house smelled. Of course, no one had plunged, but there was a mess from plunging all over. I tried for 1/2 hour, and nothing was moving in this toilet. Finally, I told hubby I had enough, I was calling a plumber to come tonight! He was here for a total of 6 minutes (Total time in my house, including writing the bill, accepting the check and calling for the next place to go, and unclogging a pencil and a SOCK from the toilet. Now, I get to scrub the bathroom all down with clorox as it really stinks!!! -sister in poop patrol! ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! His arms are awful looking all those bite marks, and yeaterday he went to plop on his beanbag, and wacked his forhead on the edge of the tv, now has a huge bump and slit going down his forhead, they keep sending him home from school with lame excuse, crying all afternoon, wont work, a 99.? temp, with no other symptoms, the other day i cried for hours, before falling asleep--after spending a good hour (after working all noc, thensending boys to school) scrubbing the crap out of the carpet, and there still is some light brown stain but i cant find anymore of the Totally Toddler that is excellent to rid of bm/pee/spit up, odors and stains, i use to get it at walmart but since they built the super one, i cant find it, and in need of a case, plus a case of beer, lol, i wish. thanks for letting me vent i needed that. shawna. HOwever, the soap eating is driving me crazy. We can't ever have soap in our dishes. And yesterday while I was out at a school function and Maddie was home with dh and kids, she apparently got into a bag of cheesies (you all know what THAT looks like thanks to the infamous pic) and no one washed her hands. So today I am running from bathroom to bathroom cleaning all the orange off the soap dishes and sinks......LOL Donna P.S. {{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}} to all dealing with this. Guest guest
Hi Lloyd, I have to hand it to you....Cleaning up poop is definitely NOT a family affair at our house! has relieved himself in the bathtub on numerous occasions. Actually, I think it relaxes him and he is able to go....considering that he has really severe chronic constipation problems, I suppose it's sort of a blessing when he can go! The bathtub isn't so bad, although it's hard to navigate him and drain the bathtub sometimes if it's really a mess. It's the " smearing " that gets to be a real bummer! He is so quick. One minute he is occupied with a video or whatever, and the next there is poop everywhere! My husband gags and the only other kid we have left at home is our 17 yr. old son who is definitely not into cleaning up poop! LOL He has done it if we aren't home and he is taking care of but not if we are here. And yes, without being graphic, we have had some pretty hillarious moments in spite of the incredible mess! You have to have a sense of humor to deal with this stuff! LOL Terry Mom to , 13 yrs.

Guest guest
You guys sound like you need a funny " mess " story. It's not poop, but here goes. When was a baby, I left the baby powder out. is very good at finding things I don't want him to have. I think this might have been before we went on vacation (so before the diet). He got a hold of it and decided to make his room look like a winter wonderland. There was baby powder EVERYWHERE!!. Has anyone ever tried to get baby powder up from tile floors? Even mopping takes a while. I walked in and almost " ice skated " across his floor. And I got to yell at DH, because he was the one who left it down within reach. Guest guest
Loriann, Matt has dusted the room with baby powder numerous times. It literally takes weeks for it all to settle out of the air. However, in the mean time, I must admit, the room smells SOOOOOO good! And Matt still does it, at age 10. We hide the powder from him. Guest guest
arnet our kids brilliant, they got it all figured out!! we all have to bribe our kids one way or another at one time or another to get to do just about anything, even nathan has to be offered something he really likes to do about any task that requires some effort on his part, he did shock me tonight, i told him his turn for dishes and he goes " ok, allllriiight " and does them with no needed intervention or reminders to stay on task he deffinately got a pop after that, and watched a video his choice. When i was growing up if i refused to do my chores or general tasks i would of got my butt beat or something, but our generation of parents are much different, and i think our children are much happier becuase of that. shawna. Guest guest
Hi! My name is Loyd and my son was recently diagnosed with Autism a few weeks ago, in addition to Down Syndrome. Just thought I would chime in on the poop party. We have been trying to potty train for about 2 years now. seems to have the most success at using the potty just before or just after his bath. Sometimes when Mom gives him his bath, he decides that the bathtub is really a very large potty, and does his job in the bathtub. He then throws as much of it as he can out of the tub. In these instances, it suddenly become Dad's job to finish the bath. :-( At least there's no carpet, only a washable floor mat, and the rest is easily cleanable or goes down the drain.
