People at work asked if I had a big dog...no just my son. Loriann who's stressing over DH working nights/days/eves/never know when he'll be home.... I never know where they are, just that they are out in a boat all day/night/whenever. I know by the time he gets the boat trailered, and drove back to where it's supposed to be, it'll be tomorrow morning, maybe as early as 7am, maybe after that, to turn around and do it all again sometime tomorrow afternoon. Now I have to find someone to watch while I go to my discipleship training. Usually dad takes him to Team Kid, but they aren't equipped to deal with . But he's typical in every other way, so I'm sure it's something he'll grow out of (or he's been copying far too much - his first sound was a growl). Loriann who's REALLY (hear the sarcasm?) looking forward to potty training a toddler and a 10 year old at the same time, and taking 2 inductive Bible studies, and leading a prayer walk through my church's neighborhood, has anyone seen my sanity? I did during spring break. Wanted to do Tim too. I was exhausted after --but it has worked. It goes on at the same time the adults have Discipleship training, so they can be doing something, too. I used to teach 1st grade and it was interesting. I started getting him to eat pickles....lots of salt in pickles. I don't know if it helped, or he just grew out of it, but he doesn't lick people any more (except for boo-boos - instead of kissing boo-boos, he licks them - made it rough when DH got his vasectomy - but don't worry out there we didn't let him....) DH and I had just remarried after being divorced for 4-1/2 years. I said we'd try to get pregnant until my 35 birthday, when chances of another DS child went up to 1 in 50. We got pregnant in October, and I turned 35 in December. They told me " because of your advanced maternal age, you qualify for all the tests. " I almost hit the 26 year old doctor with my cane.....
