Guest guest
Yes, my son Jordan (age 12), had his tonsils out in August. He has had 3 much milder episodes since. Twice he just had leg aches, headache, mouth sores, but no fever. Once he had fever, but only up to 102. The episodes are now about 2-3 days also and they used to last 4-6 days. I am hoping the end is in sight also. Machell Nematollahi

Guest guest
yes, you describe the exact sysmtoms that We've experienced with my 2 yr old daughter. shelleyluan@... wrote:My son, Caden, has been having fevers since infancy (he will be 5 in December). Cyclic neutropenia was ruled out in August. He has had one spell with no fevers for a short time after his tonsillectomy (done right after his 3rd birthday). He has now set a record for being fever free since the end of July. The July episode was REALLY short (48 hours with fever only at 101-102). So, his last REAL episode was in June. Nothing has changed, he is still getting sick every 4 weeks just without a fever. He has all the symptoms - swollen lymph nodes, mouth sore, sometimes a cold, and generally crankiness. Have any of you experienced this? I am soooooo hoping that this is the beginning of the end, but I am not optimistic. Thanks for listening. -- L. s shelleyluan@... Guest guest
, My son Jarrod (2) has had 2 months of all the symptoms but the fever. This month he had the fever and all the symptoms as well. I guess it is still possible to have the other symptoms but not the fever. Our doctor treats with Prednisone and so far it has worked like a charm. The only thing that concerned me the last episode was the SEVERE leg cramps he had. Jarrod would not walk for the whole day - it was sad. Always glad to know if you question anything there are always others who have experienced the same thing. - SWFL Mother of Jarrod (2) On Thu, 21 Oct 2004 01:14:22 +0000 shelleyluan@... writes: My son, Caden, has been having fevers since infancy (he will be 5 in December).
