Guest guest
My son is eight years old. He was diagnosed with last year. His episodes were every 28 days and his fever would last 3 days. They stopped last November and he was episode free until late April. I thought it was over. Now the episodes are coming every 2- 1/2 weeks without the ulcers. Instead he gets a headache and stomachache with a low grade fever (never over 100). But as fast as it comes on it goes away and he is fine again for a couple of weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience. I'm going to contact our infectious disease doctor this week to see what he has to say. Guest guest
I can't say for sure what he was tested for. We saw Dr. Marshall here at the University of Louisville and he put through some blood work for several months last summer and then came to the diagnosis of . I'm going to contact him this week to let him know what's going on. It's very strange that we are in this pattern now after being symptom free for six months.
