Guest guest
Hi! Is there a particular type of document that is used to chart fevers? I've been keeping track of course but wondered if there was some sort of form I could be using to make it easier. Thanks!
Guest guest
, I used Excel to chart our son, ' fevers. A big eye opener was when I then took the data and put it on a graph within Excel. Enter the data in columns; Date, temp, meds and so on. Have a temp for each day.... 98.6 for those days that there was no episode. Once you have several months of data put it into graph form.... on the Excel menu bar left click on Insert then Chart, select line chart, click next. Select only the date and temp data fields, entire column of data. Click next or finished... You will see patterns very clearly. We were not aware that ' fevers had a cycle on how high his temp would get each time... For example, one episode (4 to 6 day episodes) he'd peak out at 102, three weeks later the next high temp 103.1, the next 103.8, next 104.5. Then the next episode's high temp would peak back down at the 102 range.... Each episode building until he reach about 104.5 to 105 degrees.... If you have problems with Excel ask an accountant to help you. Nick is now 5 months without a fever after his T & A. As for doc's in Calif. Dr Senders at UC is now becoming familiar with .... He's a nationally recognized ENT. Our prayers are with you all, Tim - Dad of Nick 6 yo Fever Chart? Hi! Is there a particular type of document that is used to chart fevers?
