Also is it possible to view the surveys filled out by parents to tally the post tonsillectomy improved vs not improved kids? If not would it be best to have people mail the info to me - the catch is that according to the IRB there cannot be any patient identification information on the surveys (name, date of birth etc) Thanks! I've been trying to save all the messages from folks for whom it worked and I'd love to help you and Dr. Chan since he's done so much for our family! Both Fran and I have copies of all the surveys and we could tally those without disclosing names, if you'd like. As for the surveys, I have them. Most have no name on them.... so no ID. But there is little info on tonsils since the majority were completed prior to treatment and many without diagnosis confirmed. Most kids I believe ended up with the surgery after their parents were on this list for a while. How about posting an address and request to the list... and hopefully ALL the parents who have done the surgery will forward the information you are requesting... even an email if that will do, I will do whatever you think is needed. I can also set up a poll at the website and monthly send out an automated post where people can answer your questions... If you need to contact me outside the group to set anything up.... my email is fbulone@...
