Guest guest
We are from Elmira, NY. Great place huh Leah and Margaret? As for the throwing......LOL Seth has a backward fling that could get him in the hall of fame! Anything and everything in his path get flung behind him as he goes. Doesn't even have to be upset at the time. He just thinks it's his job to do it and he is like a man on a mission until everything has been flung! Has a great little wrist action thing going. LOL Even flung things have a quick spin to them! Anyone having trouble with their kids tipping over chairs? Guess Seth thinks if he can't fling them they must be tipped. Do you think if I tip them he may get in the habit of making sure they are all up and straight? LOL Donna, you're right! All these happy gram posts are great to read! Guest guest
we have our chairs hooked on a extra piece of wood run along under the table, this is not always childproof next plan is benches, like settles , fastened to the wall one side and too heavy to tip on the other Pat
Guest guest
Anyone having trouble with their kids > tipping > over chairs? Hi Gail, Yep, Matt tips chairs over all the time. Always has. And the vaccuum cleaner, too, if he sees it. (a big upright) He also flings things. Just yesterday, I was cleaning off the ledge over our TV and fireplace. It is a very deep ledge, about 2 -3 feet back. I have silk plants on it, but there were 3 Matt socks and 2 pair of underwear up there! I had to laugh. Guest guest
's arms go out and he pulls everything off of any table that he can reach...we don't do tablecloths.. he also loves to tip over any chair that he is physically able to. It's like they have to be that way for him to approve of. We bunji cord the chairs to the legs of the dining room table. He doesn't often try them anymore (it also keeps them all from one of their favorite activities...dancing on the table). Guest guest
Gaiol & , is also a chair tipper. His last teacher cleared a room of kids while was on a mission of tipping chairs. I was told that the chairs were strategically set down on their sides, by a bystander and the teacher claimed they were tossed across the classroom. Bit of an exaggeration don't you think? The teacher flinched every time this child came near her too. I'm so happy to have him out of there. She would have freaked me out too. Actually, she did.
