Its not that Freddie Fender or Judd are more important, just that they

are more well known. In fact, the more " famous " people that come forward

and admit to being HCV positive, the better the chance that more money

will be funneled into research and treatment.

This is not new, since this is the same pattern in the early years of

AIDs. Between labeling a specific population, and then refocusing away

from the actual disease, the pattern has been found to be detrimental to

many. So, while these people still put their pants on one leg at a time,

just like us, their recognized name helps draw attention to the problem,

and in turn, translates into more research and definitions of the

what's, whys and hows. It also helps many people to come forward and

when the numbers increase, it can be translated into increased revenue

for some companies, and a loss of work productivity for others. That

goes back to the basic theory of supply and demand, and that is where

everyone's future may be affected.

So, while no one wants to see anyone with this virus, (OK, I am sure we

all have our lists), the more that " celebrities " are diagnosed with HCV,

the better it will be for everyone. Marty

WOW!!! Where do you live that you were able to negotiate all of these

Right.... Like no one ever regains the weight they lost at Weight

Watchers, even though they learned and practiced all those great new

eating habits...

Yep.

Members,

I am on 20 mg of Lex and on 50 of Seraquel. Have just read in the WSJ that

some of the anti-psychotics may cause diabetes. Has anyone heard anything about

those drugs?

These 38Ds need to get cut off!!!

I can maybe understand women who get small implants, but some take it way

overboard! I think many will find as the " new " wears off that they are really a

pain in the tail.

Supposedly insurance will help cover a reduction, but I guess you have to be

practically crippled by them to get anywhere with it. I have three slipped discs

in my back and neck so you would think that alone would be enough.

The sad thing is that my chest is what caused me to be somewhat anorexic in high

school. I was a 38C even when I had like a 24 inch waist.
