Guest guest
Hey Friends, Well, Maddie made out pretty good yesterday. And I feel much better.....number one because Maddie didn't throw up yesterday (a tiny tad) and number two, because her doc doesnt' feel we're at the point of surgery. He wants to try another drug we haven't tried yet....reglan (sp?). He said that her problems were not acid, but movement, which is why the propulsid worked so well for Maddie when she was on it. We're also testing her bowel movements since they've changed too. She's in much better spirits the last two days too...................so fingers are crossed here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for all the support and prayers you guys!!! I'll let you know how the new meds work!! Donna
Guest guest
Donna, Glad to hear some good news about Maddie! I'll say a prayer that the reglan works for her. Have a wonderful Friday date night dinner with your DH -- sounds like a lovely tradition! Maureen

Guest guest
reglan is spelled right, its generic name is longer and hard to spell let alone to pronounce, anyways i think it should help, i know many elderly take it for reflux or nausea, and surgeons/anesthesiologist give it b4 surgeries to help prevent nausea and vomitting after the surgery but like many meds, it depends on the person, i will oray that it works as well as the propulsid did for you, even better, shawna
