Guest guest
Speaking of teeth. Reuben lost only a few of his baby teeth. He has only few of his secondary teeth. The dentist said that was probably be what he would have from now on. He's almost 13. I would like hear from anyone else about this. Also, it is so hard to take Reuben to the dentist. It takes 4 or 5 people to hold him down! But his teeth are in pretty good shape (no cavities). We brush his teeth twice a day, but he absolutely will NOT spit! I try not to put too much toothpaste on the brush. He also grinds his teeth a lot. ita

My son's teeth don't fall out on their own. We had to take him to an oral surgeon to have them removed and his teeth cleaned. I see there are a few baby teeth that aren't going to fall out again so I guess we'll be back at the oral surgeon's again. In the future I will have a sealant put on his teeth. My other kids had sealants and they grew up with no cavities!! It's well worth the money, especially if your child is hard to deal with at the dentist. Take care, Judy

Guest guest
Elie grinds his teeth sometimes - used to do it constantly. Now he bleats like a goat when I want him to do something he doesn't want to do. (I wonder if the sound will change when we leave the goat farm.....) Guest guest
I did some medline searches on teeth in DS a few months ago. It seems they fall out slower and come in slower than normal. FYI - some baby teeth never fall out, if there is no permenant one above it (I still have a baby tooth) We just took Jen to dentist. Her molar came in with a cavity. The dentist said she sees that a lot in the last few years. She doesn't know why. She wants us to wait for the other molars to come in, then get Jen knocked out to have all the ones that need it filled. Unfotunately, the only place that will take medicaid is 2 hors away. Great. Guest guest
My NDA son has 14 teeth missing and as an adult he only has 12 adult teeth. Most of his baby teeth are still in place. HE thinks that this year - since he is now a rich working single guy- he will get bondings on all to even up his face. I think he is a hunk as he is, but to quote him, " Go figure?? Guest guest
Judy, They finally managed to get x-rays of his teeth and didn't see any more permanant ones! So the dr. said his baby teeth maybe all has.. ita
