Oh CK!!! I'm sorry the whole Easter thing was such a bummer for you. You

*know* that we all *know* what you're talking about. Our kids really and

truly can wear us out. {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Maddie has

been a giant POOP factory lately and I am so incredibly tired of cleaning it

up. I'm going to try to put rubber pants over her diaper and see if that

contains it. I've scrubbed the tv room furniture 3x this week AND had to

scrub the rugs too. Duff really wants us to all go to church together as a

family every week and every week, it's becoming more and more impossible. He

has to hold her the entire time (with my neck I can't wrestle with her

anymore) Last week I had to take Maddie to the back of church where she

proceeded to try and disconnect all the candle covers (glass ones) and hurl

them----luckily I managed to stave her off from glass breaking in the church.

This week was just as bad (Easter Sunday). She bought her dangly thing but

her new thing she likes to do is dangle against things.....so she was

INSISTENT on dangling her microphone with chord against the lady's head in

front of us--------little Joe ended up leaving early with her. UGH!!!!

Some days are just WAY harder than others, aren't they?!?

{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}} again CK!!!!!!

Sounds like Easter was stressful for you, to say the least. Your description

reminded me of many family functions we've endured with over the

years. Holidays, birthday parties and various other large, noisy gatherings

are not her strong suit. Virtual {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} coming to you - hang

in there,

Maureen

Donna, I can relate -- church has been difficult for us for several years

now. can be absolutely impossible!! Bob and I usually split up and

go to separate services so that someone is home with . We may not be

together in church, but at least we can concentrate and actually hear the

sermon!! We tried to take her to church with us this past Christmas Eve and

it was awful -- Bob had to take her home after only 15 minutes because she

was yelling and trying to hit and pull the hair of the people in the row in

front of us. My brother took care of her for a few hours this past Sunday so

that the rest of us could go to Easter mass together for a change. It was so

nice! We are going to try taking to church after she's out of her

cast and comfortable again, to give her another try now that she's on

Risperdal. I feel like if I never take her, how will she ever learn how to

behave in church. I know how frustrating the church thing is and I

sympathize with you and your hubby. Sending you virtual chocolate bunnies to

ease the stress,

Maureen

Thank you, Donna, and hugs to you as well. Your situation sounded even more

drastic than mine. At least mine was in a private house, not in public.
