Beth,

So very happy for all of you, and everyone this will benefit! How awesome

that must be. What great news, seems like great things are happening to a

lot of people here lately.

I am SO HAPPY for you, and Ben! What a wonderful improvement to

the quality of life for all of you. Congratulations!!!! It is terrific to

We're looking into a service dog too. Have you applied for one yet? We were

turned down by Canine Companions before we knews was Autistic, but

there is a new group we talked too who claims we will not be turned down. I

haven't filled out the forms yet.

Leah,

The service animals are from a non profit organization. Their are places

like Canine Companions, Delta Dog Society etc., who match up the individual

with special needs and the dog, per his or her disability. It takes 1-3

years on a waiting list and the dog needs to be trained from a puppy after

the right match is found. I asked if they'd train the puppy from hell that

we have but they said no. I don't blame them.

hehe michelle, i am sure your puppy cant be the puppy from hell......thats

what mine was........... thank goodness she has straightened

out........hehehh she is now nice and lets ashton put bows in her hair and

ride her.....heheh thanks for info leha
