Those are great points and it is well taken.

Mark and obviously are not the problem, and have done wonderful things, but they are being set up here to be used.

They deserve our respect (I'm slapping myself).

But the process set up by the IOM is fundamentally dishonest. It is inherently a huge fraud.

It is telegraphing what we have come to expect of scientific review from this administration.

The politics are clear- your children and future children are expendable. They will not find causation. Too much is at stake. They will corrupt their own science, their own process, their own future interests to avoid finding causation. They have to. There can be no other result. It's as simple as that.

You have some 5,000 vaccine court cases which turn on causation from the thimerosal/autism issue. You now have a kangaroo court which is being jury-rigged to provide a particular result.

This obvious kangaroo court will go forward and look at anything other than vaccines to obfuscate the issue and to free themselves from guilt despite the fact that noone has adequately tested the vaccines (still), despite the fact that the present vaccine protocol is fundamentally flawed and is still damaging large numbers of children and the fact that thousands of parents have seen with their own eyes the fact that one or more of the vaccines is the problem.

What response occurs as a consequence of the inevitable dishonesty emanating from the study is open to suggestion.

Yes, they deserve our respect. But in criticism will come spirt and backbone, hopefully. Perhaps the criticism of them should just not be that caustic.

But how can we guarantee backbone?

IOM, etc.

All:Mark and are not the problem here, the IOM is. They are detached from reality. For all of you who are frustrated, the #1 thing you can do is write the IOM and share your respectful complaints with them about the process being run.I have every reason to believe Mark and will run in the opposite direction if the IOM creates a process that won't help our kids, but give those 2 a break for trying. As far as the rift that some are complaining about I say: get your house in order behind the scenes, it takes 2 to have a disagreement and publicly ripping people without trying to work things out in private typically does not improve relations. Who is going to be the bigger person first? It's embarrasing for me to read so much public complaining about personalities. Figure it out, we are all human. If you want to take action, email the IOM:Here's the link to the IOM Workshop:http://www.iom.edu/CMS/3740/35684/39826.aspxHere's the email address to give feedback before the meeting:neuroforumnas (DOT) edu <neuroforumnas (DOT) edu>Here's the statement of task:http://www.iom.edu/Object.File/Master/40/247/Autism%20SOT%20Feb%202.pdf
