Doesn't Bob own a Thimerasol factory? Did I dream that? If he

does, then should any of this come as a suprise? Someone had to

hijack the movement, we were getting to close for comfort, and God

forbid the folks at pharma have to deal with another dip in their

stock values. I mean really, Vioxx, then Zyprexa, if things continue,

that Mr. and I went to the same College. He's pledged

No, I'm serious, not long after AS & NAAR tied the knot, someone

posted a document that listed Bob , of NBC & GE as the CEO of a

plant that manufactures thimerasol, it's a compounded man made form

of mercury. I tried to search the posts, but with the problems

they're having, I got a message to try again later. Does anyone else

remember this?

Ever since AS came on the scene there has been speculation on this

list by myself and others that they could be the " anti-christ " * of

autism, or if you prefer military metaphors, pharma's fifth columnists.**

Whatever the true nature of AS, those of us who support A-CHAMP have

never surrendered our advocacy to them, so we don't have to " take it

back " . Their amalgamation of all the large autism research fundraising

organization into one has left a vacuum for real autism research that

A-CHAMP intends to fill.

Putting an end to the autism epidemic and finding justice for those

injured is a political task first and foremost; secondarily a

scientific one. (Thank you, Ivan Illich! No thank you, CAAers.) We

already know the cause of 'autism'. The research needed now is for

better treatments to heal those damaged and to help further bring to

justice the perpetrators.

As far as I am concerned the scientific debate about the cause of

autism is over, no matter how many sycophants, dilettantes,

jackanapes and fools put out books apologizing for iatrogenesis and

attempt to deny the epidemic.

As for going after Autism Speaks, such a strategy will not make much

sense to the pubic at large, I mean public at large until we can

better tell the mercury-vaccine story. The fifth column is only the

fifth. First things first.

own a Hg-factory. That’s just silly. Yes, GE, the parent company to

NBC, of which Bob is the chairman, owns a plant that does make Hg. Bob

message where it said that. But it was found out that GE or a sub of

GE manufactures thimerosal for some reason or another.

Yes, GE owns a thimerosal plant in Europe. Bob is head of NBC/Universal. Toxins are created there, but not the chemcial type. But that's more a reflection of a cultural deficit from prime-time television.

The thimerosal produced in Europe is not used for vaccines. Most of the thimerosal for the vaccines comes from a company in Argentina, for reasons related to liability concerns.

You clear have been robbed, but not by the s.

I know you're all skeptical, but I don't believe that Amersham makes a thimerosal product which is FDA approved for inclusion in vaccines. Please check. The only companies which might use Amersham thimerosal would be Sanofi or perhaps Glaxo and I very much doubt it would come from then. If it does, then I stand corrected, but my understanding is that all vaccine thimerosal is produced in Argentina by a company which is relying on local laws to avoid liability. The company even admits that the reason they are doing it is because of issues associated with the belief that thimerosal causes autism.

First, let me state very clearly that I have nothing but disdain for the organization(s) Autism Speaks/NAAR/CAN and many of their actions. Now allow me to clarify that my disdain does not apply to some individuals associated with those organizations such Sallie Bernard, former president of Cure Autism Now Board of Directors. I consider Sallie a friend and she has proven time and time again her loyalty and commitment to our children. I do not hold her personally responsible for any of the seemingly nefarious actions of CAN. She is but one person on that Board. After almost four years of interacting with her, I would like to think I know Sallie's heart; and it is in the right place, good and pure. Another fine man associated with the CAN Board is Dr. Baskin, whose research and published papers regarding the acute toxicity of Thimerosal are phenomenal. I do not hold Dr. Baskin responsible for the poor choices of CAN. Bell, aka "Mr. Risperdal" is another matter all together but that is another kettle of fish for another time.

Furthermore, I bear no ill will personally towards Bob and Suzanne . My heart aches for them as it does for any genuinely grieving grandparent, parent, family member or friend that has or knows an "autistic" child.

Bob is in a difficult position whereby his professional life may be an impediment to his expressing his personal belief regarding what happened to his grandson. I say "may be an impediment" because I have never personally spoken to Bob and can not say with certainty whether or not he believes his grandson has mercury poisoning. If he in fact believes mercury was involved, one would have thought he would contact me or NoMercury considering our extensive scientific and forensic accounting investigation into the matter but perhaps others have already presented him with some of my workproduct (certainly wouldn't be the first time that our workproduct was not properly credited so that is likely). Having learned my lesson in that regard it is rare that I disclose any information except with a select few trustworthy and loyal individuals. Am I the only one to think that sometimes our community is its own worst enemy? Sometimes, I still struggle to understand why some choose to do the most duplicitous and counter-productive actions that destroy friendships, trust and morale in our community for the sake of a few minutes attention, fame or adoration (or perhaps even financial gain). Is it really worth it in the end? Not to me. Pardon me for digressing with those personal observations and my mini-rant.

Now let's look at the FACTS. The following is a small part of a February 2005 investigation into this matter by myself and two other parents (I would be happy to give them equal credit but having just returned from a trip testifying for the Nebraska mercury ban, I have not yet spoken to them this morning so I will not divulge their identity without their permission though most of you who know me and this community can easily surmise who my investigative colleagues are in this matter). Their assistance, friendship, support, guidance, intelligence, humor and committment is always appreciated and is often what helps me get through the day. My failure to name them in this message is in no way meant to diminish their contribution to this investigation.

Personally, I think Bob is merely stuck between a rock and a hard place; I believe him to be a sincere grandfather, hurting for the grandson whom he obviously adores but his legal fiduciary duty to GE and its stockholders have him over the proverbial barrel as long as he is their employee and those legal obligations outweigh ability to express what may be his personal beliefs regarding Thimerosal. I would not want to be in his shoes (although as a widow with a mercury-injured child, I sure could use his paycheck for one day.)
