CDC Letter- Posted from another list

A mother posted this yeterday and asked if anyone has received a

similar letter?

I e-mailed her and asked if I could re-post it here. YOu may post it

to other groups you belong to with her permission.

She asked if anyone did, to save the letter.

Please e-mail her if you have received a letter and if you would like

to look into it further.

She told me one parent told her they got one and just shredded it.

" Yesterday, I received a letter from the Department of Health & Human

Services -

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about a study providing

important

information on the vaccinations our country's young children have

received.

The letter stated they picked our number out of the phone book at

random, and

will be calling to question us about our child's immunization record.

I grew

suspicious when I read our child - how do they know I have a child if

they

picked our number out of the phone book at random? I have heard

through the

grapevine CDC has been looking through school records of children

diagnosed

with autism. Has anyone else received this survey? If so, can you

post a message on this list or contact me

by e-mail at anitaporter@... I would like to know if this

is an

actual random survey or if CDC is targeting the autistic population.
