Guest guest
I got this from a trial attorney in Chicago... " The statute of limitations in Illinois for a case involving an alleged product defect provides that the lawsuit be filed within two years from the date you should have known of the defect. However, in the case of a minor, this two year period is tolled until his 18 birthday. Thus, a cause of action must be brought before his 20th birthday. Whether other factors exist which may shorten or extend the applicable statute of limitations is unknown. "
