Is this a joke? I can't find it anywhere on the CAN or AS websites or AP wires.

Can anyone confirm?

I would be very excited if I knew any real research was being done,

other than brain scans and eye flicker patterns. Lol. Why aren't they

funding the heck out of chelation studies, MB-12 studies, diet

studies, and all the other studies for which real progress is being

shown. Yeah, maybe all that other stuff has a place, but certainly not

when research is so desperately needed to help desperately. Fund

what's working, put a hold on what's not. I don't know of a single

treatment that's come out of any brain mapping. On the flip side,

chelation that helps neurons has helped what, 75%? I know some of

those who is hasn't helped probably haven't found the right protocol

for their kid.

I have a kid that's been chronically hospitalized for metabolic

acidosis, vomited until near death many times. The " professionals "

just look at me with a blank stare. But since March she's started LDN

& methylb-12. She's been sick 1 time with a cold, 1 time with

vomiting. Why aren't things like this getting research money? Because

it's helping?

Hello Peggy,

Please provide the source of this announcement, specifically I would

like the email address or contact number for Kim and Randy Wolf so

that it may be verified.

I would urge list members not to forward this information until the

information can be validated.

Thank you,

The language of the announcement is convincing, to say the least. Perhaps this

came too

early for the " official " announcement to be made public?

Hi Deb,

The reason is that they have no intention of ever funding a study

that will link thimerisol with autism, or any neurodevelopmental

delay. That includes any and all learning disability no matrrer how

mild. Gene theory be damned. We will all be poisoned by neuro toxins.

Our genes will just determine how little, or much will do it. We

already know the cause. The studies have been done. They know it, we

know it. This is all about getting them to admit it, and they never

will. Why do you think autism, and ADD/ADHD have ended up in the DSM

IV manual's. They are going to turn all the bran damages into mental

illness so the Pharmas can cash in using brain disabling drugs. They

are going to do it with the Governments blessing. There is an old

saying. When you find yourself beating a dead horse its best just to

dismount. They will never admit it as long as all that were involved

are still breathing.

Unfortunately, because it's helping.

Do you think they really want that? Some do.

If it does help, what does that say about it's cause.

Isn't the whole charade is to deny the cause?

MHO.

Exactly, I am sure the CDC has contacted their attorneys to identify

the best stance take to avoid legal action and possible

incarceration. I know if I did this to thousands of kids I would be

looking for ways to cover my @ss. It's not about what is best for

the kids any more, it's a fight.

I am confused why legal action from parents is at such a stand still

with this. With all the evidence from the likes of the Geirs', Boyd

Haley, Wakefield, etc and in particular Mady Horning with her mice

model. I don't get how all this can be dismissed.

Simple. Because it's EXPENSIVE!

It's too bad they can't see how EXPENSIVE this is going to be to the economy

when these

kids grow into adulthood.

The future will see the rolling of many, many heads who knew the truth, yet did

nothing.

Theirs is a dark legacy and history will be their judge.

Excuse my ignorace on this. Is this a rally or protest or an actual

could be a good option since it is very difficult for all to go on a

Here it is and I hope it's okay that I cut and pasted the email from

them here:

Dearest Friends:

Though the word friends hardly does justice to how we feel about you.

You have been our brothers and sisters, our comrades in battle, our

shoulders to cry on, the arms that lift us up. When we look in each

other's eyes we see the same thing--that crazy mix of determination,

sadness, endless love and hope for a better future.

We are writing today to tell you about a big decision that we are

making at Cure Autism Now; we pray that it will be the right one and

we hope that you will join us.

We have decided that we can best serve the people we love with autism

by joining forces with Autism Speaks and becoming one much, much

stronger organization. The urgency with which we approach our mission

will be the same, the optimism and creativity and compassion will be

the same. But we are betting that our ability to get the message out,

reach more people and fund more research will be greater. And it

needs to be.

Because even though things are better than they were 10 years ago,

more people are getting diagnosed than ever before. The numbers are

going up not down, there is more sadness not less and there is more

that we must get done.

We are bringing our innovative science programs, including AGRE, ATN,

Clinical Trials Network and Innovative Technology for Autism. We are

creating a new well-funded program that will pursue high risk, high

reward research. And we will be adding more money and more reach and

the ability to truly spread the message all over the country. We will

be joining up with thousands and thousands of other families who are

as passionate as we are. And if we were loud before, we will be

louder.

We are writing to say that as we join Autism Speaks, we pledge to

stay true to everything Cure Autism Now is and to bring that into the

new organization. And so we ask you to come with us. We ask you to

get more committed, show your passion with even more power and

dedication. We will be getting bigger and stronger and tougher and

more insistent. As we grow, we will get even faster not slower, our

hearts will grow bigger, we will listen to you harder. Whether our

kids are 3 or 30, can't say a word or can't stop talking about the

baseball schedule, we want better lives for them. And whether we are

called Cure Autism Now, Autism Speaks, or that perennial favorite in

our house, Autism Sucks, our commitment to a better life for those

with autism does not change.

Is there a downside? Well we suppose all those T-shirts and coffee

cups become memorabilia, but that is a small price to pay. And at CAN

we have always been about building the future, not dwelling on the

past. Still now might be a good time to look, for a moment, at what

you have done as part of CAN. You have created a field of scientific

research where there was nothing. You have written and passed the

only important legislation for autism and are about to make history

by doing it again with the Combating Autism Act. By creating AGRE,

you have changed the way science is done and created the gold

standard of collaboration. You have made autism part of the national

vocabulary. You have given a voice to people who have no voice. You

have insisted that this generation is worth saving.

We are so proud of everything we have accomplished so far and we

believe that together, as we become the loudest, largest, most

mobilized and powerful force our community has ever seen, we can do

twice as much in the future.

Join us. Help us in the next part of the journey. Help us as we help

Autism Speaks speak passionately, truthfully and urgently for all of

us and our children, now.

It's a legal proceeding all right. No decision as to whre it will take place yet. If not DC-may go somewhere to middle of country. As far as I know right now--(or last I heard) there are 5,400 lawsuits filed in Vaccine Court regarding thimerosal/vaccines/autism etc. I don't know the link-perhaps soeone else can chime in.markautismcharge <mark.connolly.cgb5@...> wrote: Excuse my ignorace on this. U.C. MIND Institute is in the middle of a large MB12 study right now, and

in another

6 weeks or so they are lauching another large study on the effects of HBOT.

They had a lecture there three weeks ago on toxicology that I was told by

friends was

excellent (I couldn't attend due to IV therapy with my son that day). The

toxicology lecture

should be up on their website soon in the media section for viewing.

Great, thanks. Along the same lines does anyone have the link where

you can file an autism vaccine related lawsuit with the federal

government without a lawyer? I think the cost was 250 dollars to

submit the claim. I lost the link.

I'm talking about a privately-funded study from CAN, not gov-funded.

Of course the gov won't do it, which is my entire point about CAA. But

CAN should really be past their studies they keep holding out on, I

can't figure out why they are so against biomed.

It's my op legal action is at a stand still because there just aren't

attorneys wanting to prosecute. We could go after individuals for

failing in their jobs to protect and intentionally harm our kids, but

I've not met an attorney yet willing to take it on.

Absolutely and very well put.

Insanity is defined as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

The problem is this doesn't end until the credibility of our once reputable institutions collapse and they become the object of derision and belly laughter.

That is a very sad thing for this society.

That includes any and all learning disability no matrrer how mild. Gene theory be damned. We will all be poisoned by neuro toxins. Our genes will just determine how little, or much will do it. We already know the cause. The studies have been done. They know it, we know it. This is all about getting them to admit it, and they never will. Why do you think autism, and ADD/ADHD have ended up in the DSM IV manual's. They are going to turn all the bran damages into mental illness so the Pharmas can cash in using brain disabling drugs. They are going to do it with the Governments blessing. There is an old saying. When you find yourself beating a dead horse its best just to dismount. They will never admit it as long as all that were involved are still breathing.
